Contest rules and regulations
- The contest duration is:
- Start date: 08/08/2012
- Finish date: 12/21/2013
- The contest name is "King of the road". It is held by Octa Markets Incorporated.
- The contest registration will be finished 24 hours prior to the contest end date.
- Only persons of legal age (18+) can take part in the contest.
- A person must have an OctaFX real account to take part in the contest.
- A contestant is free to open and deposit any number of contest accounts.
- Any trading strategies and/or EAs are allowed for contest account trading.
- Real accounts of any type (Micro or ECN or both) can take part in the contest.
- Account with the highest points by the contest end date will be announced the winner. The runner-ups (2nd to 10th positions) will be qualified for secondary prizes.
- All the prizes' photos and/or images presented in the contest ads, promo banners and other promotional materials are for educational purposes only. The real prizes may look different.
- Points calculation formulae are described in "How to win" section.
- The contest results will be announced no later than in 7 days after the contest finish date.
- Winner award ceremony will be published on OctaFX website and/or other mass media.
- The winner unconditionally agrees to take part in the award ceremony and any PR events liked to the contest.
- The winner will be contacted within 7 business days after the contest end date.
- OctaFX will run a background check on the winner, his legitimacy, information validity and possible violations. Should such be found the Company reserves a right to cancel the contest results.
- All the prizes shall be shipped into the winners' locations.
- The winner must provide a full set of original documents (that is, his national id) prior to be able to take the prize. The ID must be valid.
- In case the winner is unable to take the prize, a trust agreement can be concluded for another person by virtue of the power of attorney.
- The Company is not an agent to any taxes or obligations of the winner's country (whether property tax, vehicle tax, road tax, or whatever other fees payable).
- In exceptional cases an equivalent of the prize can be paid into the winner's trading account or bank account.
- By taking part in the contest a participant unconditionally agrees to all the terms and conditions of the contest.
- Any direct or indirect breach of these rules shall be a subject to account disqualification from the contest.
- Any situation not described in these rules shall be a subject of Company's decision.
- OctaFX reserves a right to change, update or cancel this promotion with notification in the Company news.
- Company reserves a right to reject or disqualify any participant without explaining the reason. The reason of disqualifying can include opening the big volume opposite orders with the same currency pairs in different trading accounts at the same time approximately, as well as usage of failures in the quote flow for getting guaranteed profit or any other kinds of cheating.
