What exactly is coinchat? Coinchat is a web chat network with Bitcoin integration. It.s a bit like IRC. You can talk in rooms. If there are no rooms that are interesting to you, create one yourself and bring your friends!
Oh, and you can also get free bitcoin. That's not the main focus of the site, and you will be banned if you are only here for the coins.
How can I get free bitcoins?
Talk about interesting topics, contribute and you'll be eligble for rewards! Please don't ask mods to promote you - we'll do it if we think you contribute!
Rules?
- No spam / flooding / irrelevant copypastes / gibberish / messages strictly about or for earning mBTC
- No advertising where it isn't allowed
- No talking to yourself
- No impersonation.
- No mute / ban evading
Some rooms may have their own rules. Generally, no begging, no referral links, no hate words, no flame wars, etc.
What's a mBTC?
1 mBTC = 0.001 BTC, 1000 mBTC = 1 Bitcoin. As of writing, each mBTC is worth about $0.13.

How can I make a bot?
First of all, are you sure you want to make a bot? There.s plenty of them already, and it.s unlikely that many people will use it unless its. really unique. You can make bots with Node.js and socket.io-client. Look in the page source for scripts.js and take a look at how the client works. Your bot can emulate that (and should have the text bot in it.s username somewhere). Afterwards, ask admin and your bot will be flagged and have reduced tip transaction fees.
Rules?
Common sense basically. Creators / ops of a room can set additional rules for their rooms. Network-wide, do not spam, flood, post low quality messages, or harass others. This includes using hate speech.
