Hi Khang,
Thanks for writing in.
Happy to help!
Let me explain a little bit more about how Giving Assistant works so it is clearer for you. Certain retailers pay us a commission for sending shoppers their way. Instead of keeping that commission, we give it all back to our members as cash back. Basically, free savings! We want our members to save a lot for themselves and if they feel like they can, donate some of it to the charity or nonprofit of their choice, although this is not at all required to be a member with us.
Since our minimum payout is $5.01, The deal requires that you make a purchase at eBay and a cash back store in order to get the $5 sign up bonus.
You can see if a store offers cash back by checking if there's a turquoise box at the top right of the store page. If there is no such box, we don't offer cash back for that specific store. You can also click on this link to see the full list of cash back stores:

I realize the language is confusing, especially for someone who may not know what a cash back purchase is. Please let me know if that clears things up for you!
